Getting Started
Obtaining your Mortgage license is very similar to getting your Real Estate License. You will be subject to education and a test. You will do all of this within the NMLS (National Mortgage License System).
20 Hour SAFE Education
This is a 20-hour class that covers the basic requirement for all 50 states. Some States may require 1-3 additional, State specific hours.
The National Test
This is a 20-hour class that covers the basic requirement for all 50 states. Some States may require 1-3 additional, State specific hours.
